Thomas Bed Splints
Used a a traction device for severe leg fractures.
Although an old and traditional method of treating serious leg fractures this device is still considered by many to be the most appropriate method of treatment in certain circustances.
They are manufactured from 8mm bright mild steel and have a chromium finish. The top ring section is then padded and covered in a naturally tanned leather.
Although they can be manufactured to specified sizes at no additional cost, we have a standard range as follows:
Child 20” ring - 36” inside leg length
Youth 23” ring - 39” inside leg length
Adult 26” ring - 42” inside leg length
Ex Lge 28” ring - 42” inside leg length
